I have been getting a lot questions about what my home is like in the United States, so here are some pictures and a video of my state.

The state I lived in is called Oregon. I live very close to the largest city in Oregon, which is called Portland. My house is in the country.

This is a picture of downtown Portland.



This is a picture taken from my house. It rains all the time!



I went to school at Lewis & Clark College. The college is near downtown Portland. Here are some pictures of where I graduated from a few months ago.



Sometimes it snows. And fall is always very beautiful in Oregon.



Sometimes during the summer and fall I will work at a winery. It is fun to see how wine is made, and the vineyards are beautiful. This is the winery I have spent time at.



My family also owns a small house on the beach. During summer the coast a beautiful place to go visit. It takes 2 hours to get here from my home.

Oregon has many trees and forests. It's a great place to go hiking. Some of the trees are huge!



The mountain is called Mt. Hood, and many people can go skiing there.



From time to time my family likes to go rafting. This is when you take a raft on the river and float down. I did this right before I came to China with one of my sisters and my younger brother.



There is also a famous baseball team in the neighboring state of Washington. I like to go up to Seattle, Washington and watch baseball games.



Lastly, there is a beautiful cascade that is near my home. It takes 45 minutes to get there from my house. It's called Multnomah Falls, and I visit it pretty often.



Multnomah Falls is near the Columbia River Gorge. Just like in Wanzhou with the Three Gorges, my state has a gorge as well.



Portland is a very unique city, and many people want to keep it that way.



I think Oregon is a beautiful state. And if you ever come to the United States, I hope you will have a chance to see it!
